2 miles to the west of central Lowestoft is Oulton Broad which is the “gateway to the Broads” and where the broadland meets the sea.

This magical waterway is a member of the National parks family and a heaven for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and water sport lovers.

The broads can be viewed by walking through the beautiful Nicholas Everett Park. For those wanting to take to the water you can hire a day boat or simply relax and enjoy a Broad’s tour taking in the wonderful environment.
